Concetta Mazzetti

Born and raised in the wilds of North Okanogan County, after graduating from Tonasket High School, I traveled far afield to attend a SUNY college to complete a degree in Art and Play Therapy. Post graduation, Master Potter Ann Darling lit a fire inside of me that I never imagined existed as I studied under her watchful eye in Florida. The light of this craft continued to guide me for the next 15+ years, leading to juried art shows, commercial production, private sales and customized commissions. My passion for practicing this art form has been the fuel that has inspired me to create Circle Ceramics.
After returning home with my daughter in the winter of 2019, I was reminded of the present fear of wildfires that this community experiences during the summer months. Ceramic art is my reminder that fire is alchemy to the potter and the clay, not destruction. The wild element of the transformation that breathes life into simple clay is just this.
This studio serves as a space to inspire and learn, as we embrace this powerful alchemy to create art, bring people together and give back.
Circle Ceramics welcomes you! Come light your inner artist!
